Terms of Service
Effective February 7, 2026
Welcome to bibli. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at bibli.page and all related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by bibli ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent to use the Service.
2. Accounts
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that have been inactive for an extended period.
3. User Content
Ownership. You retain all ownership rights to the content you create and publish on the Service ("User Content"). bibli does not claim ownership of your work.
License to bibli. By publishing content on the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and make your content available to other users in connection with operating and promoting the Service. This license ends when you remove your content from the Service, except where it has been shared with others who have not yet removed it.
Your Representations and Warranties. By submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are the sole author and owner of the content, or you have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to submit it and to grant bibli the license described above; (b) the content does not and will not infringe, misappropriate, or violate any third party's intellectual property rights, rights of publicity or privacy, or any other proprietary or contractual right; (c) the content is not defamatory, libelous, threatening, or harassing, and does not contain false statements of fact about identifiable persons; (d) the content does not contain personal information of any third party submitted without that party's consent; (e) the content was not generated wholly or substantially by automated means in a manner that misrepresents its authorship; and (f) your submission and bibli's authorized use of the content will not violate any law or regulation. You agree to defend and indemnify bibli for any breach of these representations.
Responsibility. You are solely responsible for the content you publish and for any consequences of publishing it.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Publish content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
- Upload or distribute malware, spam, or other harmful material
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service without our consent
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.
5. Monitoring, Reporting, and Removal
No Obligation to Monitor. bibli has no obligation to monitor, screen, edit, or review User Content, and assumes no responsibility for the conduct of any user or for the content any user submits, transmits, or makes available through the Service. The fact that bibli may review or remove some content does not create any obligation to review or remove other content.
Platform, Not Publisher. bibli is an interactive computer service as defined in 47 U.S.C. § 230. All User Content, whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, is the sole responsibility of the person from whom that content originated. bibli does not endorse, support, represent, or guarantee the completeness, truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of any User Content. You understand that by using the Service you may be exposed to User Content that is inaccurate, offensive, or otherwise objectionable, and you access such content at your own risk.
Right to Remove. bibli reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without notice or liability to you or any third party, to remove, disable access to, or modify any User Content; to suspend, restrict, or terminate any user's access to the Service; and to take any other action it deems appropriate, including for content that bibli determines may violate these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of any third party, or that bibli otherwise finds objectionable. bibli will not be liable for any decision to remove, retain, or restore content, or for any consequences of those decisions.
Reporting. To report User Content you believe violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, contact us at hello@bibli.page. For copyright-specific complaints, follow the procedure in Section 7. bibli will review reports in the ordinary course but is under no obligation to act on any particular report and makes no commitment regarding response time or outcome.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by bibli and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.
7. Copyright Infringement
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any content on the Service infringes your copyright, please contact us at hello@bibli.page with the following information:
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- The URL or location of the allegedly infringing material on the Service
- Your contact information
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on their behalf
Repeat Infringer Policy. In accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), bibli has adopted and will reasonably implement a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at bibli's sole discretion, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of others. bibli may also limit access to the Service or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe intellectual property rights, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
Counter-Notification. If you believe your content was removed (or access to it disabled) by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to bibli's designated agent at the email above containing the following per 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3): (i) your physical or electronic signature; (ii) identification of the material removed and its location prior to removal; (iii) a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; (iv) your name, address, and telephone number; and (v) a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the district of your address (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which bibli may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification or their agent. Knowingly making material misrepresentations in a counter-notification may subject you to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, bibli shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless bibli and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
11. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason or no reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms or if your conduct creates risk for the Service or other users. You may terminate your account at any time by following the account-deletion procedures in the Service or by contacting us.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification obligations, limitations of liability, and dispute-resolution provisions — will survive.
13. Feedback and Unsolicited Submissions
If you provide us with comments, suggestions, ideas, or other feedback regarding the Service ("Feedback"), you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, and incorporate the Feedback into the Service or any other product without obligation or compensation to you. You waive any rights you may have to be acknowledged as the source of any such Feedback.
bibli does not accept, consider, or review unsolicited ideas, proposals, manuscripts, or materials submitted outside the normal scene-publishing flow (including business proposals, partnership pitches, or creative concepts sent by email or other channels). Any such submissions are deemed non-confidential and non-proprietary, and bibli is free to use, reproduce, and distribute them for any purpose without obligation or compensation. This policy avoids future misunderstandings about the origin of bibli's products, features, or editorial decisions.
14. Interactions Between Users
The Service enables interactions between you and other users, including through comments, ratings, follows, and discussion features. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. If you have a dispute with one or more other users of the Service, or with any third party arising from your use of the Service, you release bibli (and our officers, directors, employees, agents, and successors) from claims, demands, damages, and liability of every kind and nature, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes. bibli is under no obligation to become involved in disputes between users or between users and third parties.
15. Beta and Experimental Features
From time to time, we may offer features that are designated as beta, preview, or experimental. These features are provided on an "as is" basis, may be modified or removed at any time, and may not function as intended. We disclaim all warranties and liability with respect to such features to the fullest extent permitted by law.
16. Resolving Disputes With bibli
Informal Resolution. Before filing a claim against bibli, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at hello@bibli.page. We will attempt to resolve the dispute by contacting you. If a dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days of submission, you or bibli may bring a formal proceeding.
No Class Actions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and bibli agree that any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be resolved on an individual basis only, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding.
Time to File. Any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service must be filed within one (1) year after the claim arose; otherwise, the claim is permanently barred.
17. Miscellaneous
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. No waiver of any term will be deemed a continuing waiver of that term or any other term.
Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies we publish on the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and bibli regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements between us regarding the Service.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights or obligations under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in our sole discretion, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
Force Majeure. We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, network or infrastructure failures, strikes, or shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.
Notices. We may provide notices to you by email to the address associated with your account, by posting on the Service, or by any other reasonable means. Notices to bibli should be sent to hello@bibli.page.
Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.
No Third-Party Beneficiaries. These Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights in any person not a party to them.
Relationship. Nothing in these Terms creates any agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between you and bibli.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (for example, by email or by an in-Service notice). Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
19. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and, to the extent applicable, the State in which bibli maintains its principal place of business, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts of competent jurisdiction in that location, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
20. Contact Us
