Episode 20: Across the Village

Across the village, a spinning top slammed into another. The crowd erupted. A little boy jumped with both fists raised. “I won!”

Near the stream, children chased rolling hoops. One stumbled. Everyone laughed. The hoop kept rolling.

Under an old tree, two girls argued over marbles. “No, that one counts.” “It doesn’t!” A moment later, they were laughing again.

The village no longer felt like one playground. It had become nine different worlds, living at the same time.
